The wood has been delivered! Now to get buildin'. This will soon be a deck and a fence. But not necessarily in that order.

This guy was sitting outside the door of the rental house as we were leaving. I poked him, he did not move. He is either brave or dying.

Mary and I went out to eat at this really nice floating restaurant (The Cedars) in Coeur d'Alene before we left. Really tasty. We started with fondue, after which Mary had a nice steak (shrimp-stuffed sole for me). We chose not to order the $69 lobster.

Nothing says "4th of July" like a van made out of pizza. Or a pizza made out of van. I can't tell which this is.

I love salad. Radishes from some local farmed nonsense, english cucumbers, mixed lettuce, sugar snap peas, green onion, sprouts (both alfalfa and mungbean), and topped off with olive oil, vinegar, parmesan, and black pepper.
